Dan O’Brien hails from the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts where he grew up surrounded by rolling hills and gorgeous greenery. Restlessness and wanderlust set in leading to his choice to attend Champlain College in Burlington Vermont where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Media Production in 2018.

During his time at Champlain he explored Europe and the Zanzibari islands of Tanzania. These two stints abroad heavily influenced the direction of his photography. His work revolves around highlighting the cultural values we place on both the natural landscapes around us and the structures we develop.
