A view over old town Tallin Estonia with a prominent view of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The interior of the cathedral is gorgeous as is but the location of it makes it a must see if you plan to visit Estonia. The entirety of Tallin’s old town is worth a day’s exploration. There’s a little hidden away medieval themed restaurant in the bottom of the town hall that serves hearty food and cool beer, if you do stop by there for some grub be ready to have the full medieval experience including a lack of cutlery.

There’s little I can say that hasn’t already been said about Dubrovnik, the weather is beautiful, the people friendly, and the food delicious if a bit pricey due to the rampant tourism in the area. To get a more complete picture of Dubrovnik though you have to travel up to Utvrda Imperial a fort that played a large role in defending Dubrovnik during the Balkan conflicts of the 90s. Utvrda Imperial houses a museum and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

Five waterfalls feed into one of the sixteen lakes of Plitvice National Park in Croatia. The entirety of this UNSECO World Heritage Site is stunning and if you intend to visit you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t dedicate a whole day to this awe inspiring destination.
